Elias Hirschl

Elias Hirschl, born 1994, is an Austrian author, slam poet and musician. In 2014 he became Austrian Poetry Slam champion and has been performing spoken word texts on stages all over Europe for several years. In 2018, the play Die wunderbare Zerstörung des Mannes (The Wonderful Destruction of Man) by the Aktionstheater Ensemble with texts by Martin Gruber and Elias Hirschl premiered in Bregenz and Vienna. Most recently published:  Happy Pigs in Free Fall, Short Texts 2018.
